The Account Planning Group is the authority in advertising and communications strategy. Founded in London in 1979, the APG is the foremost and longest-established organisation representing the interests of account planners and other communications strategists.

The APG is a not-for-profit organisation run for and by its members: primarily planners and strategists in advertising agencies, but increasingly the wider community of communications strategists, including media planners, channel planners, digital planners, researchers and clients.
